שירת ביחידת ממכ"א ולאחר מכן היה מפקד ממר"ם בדרגת אל"מ. לאחר השחרור מצה"ל היה מנהל המחשוב (מנמ"ר)  של אגד.   לאחר מכן שימש כראש מועצת סביון לאורך 3 קדנציות.
